A couple more ideas for you.

1. Use a rear wheel with cassette as a Chrismas wreath. Put ivy aound the rim. I saw this in the latest Bicycling magazine and it looked very cool.

2. My LBS has an old wheel mounted on stand that they use as a cloths rack. The wheel is mounted horizontal on a pole about 4 feet tall. The clothes hangers hang on the rim. Theirs is set up so it spins.
I have seen the rack done before, very cool!!..........nmBeau L

... impressive work, especially when you consider the pressures of our society to throw $h!t away... only to buy new... to start the process all over again.

... if'n it won't ride no mores... good work.

Be the bike.

One of these days I'll have to post a picture of the lamp I made from a cast-off aluminum fork. I used a block of nice wood, a bolt-on fork mount with QR skewer, fork and lamp kit from Ace Hardware. Ran the wire up through the base and the shortened steerer tube. Looks great.

Any ideas for old handlebars?

Are you planning to make a side business with this new passion? I imagine you could find buyers on ebay... your work looks fantastic.

I really like the lamp. This stuff would look good in my office.

Something with the patena of age, maybe a little rust or faded out paint would add a different appeal.

Here's an artist I like that may not even be relevant but he's good
