Is it allowed on airplanes?
Is it allowed in UPS 2nd Day Air packages?

Thanks,

FAA rules bar CO2 cartridges on aircraft. They must be shipped via ground. If you look in any of the mail order catalogs, you'll see that the CO2 cartridges are always marked "must be shipped by ground" or words to that effect.

I mailed myself some cartidges the first time, thinking that I wasn't supposed to bring them on the airplane, then found that I had left one in the flat pack in the bike box. I also have accidentally taken them in checked luggage, and maybe carry on as well. I guess none of the screeners know you're not supposed to!
