Anyone use the Polar S-702I HRM? How do you like it? I am going to pick up one in the next two or three weeks. I figure I might as well get the real good one while I have the money.

They made an important change from the 710, now the warning beats to tell you when you are out of HR Range do not work when it is in bike feature mode. Really a bad design as far as I am concered kind of defeats the purpose.
depends...Bonked

on what you want. i was originally going to get an expensive computer and a s150, but then realized i could get the s720 for not much more (i work in a bike shop and got mine for wholesale) and only have one thing on my bars. i do like the monitor and love being able to record my rides and review them, especially getting an idea about the grades on the local hills. however, i'm not sure if any of these features are really worth $300 and am not sure if i would pay retail for one. i find that, with the exception of the fact that there is a few second delay before the speed registers, this hrm works great and is easy to use (i program with a computer and then download the settings...doing it in the watch would suck), it just depends on if the $$$ is worth it to you.
