Which Rollers To Buy???JetSpeed

Looking at Kreitler or Sportcrafters aluminum drum rollers.

I would like SOME resistance, but don't need a lot since I already have a Cyclops Fluid Trainer I get strength training from.

I'm leaning towards the Sportcrafters for price ($179) and .001 runout VS. ($279) and .002 runout from the Kreitlers.

Anyone ridden both? Suggestions/comments?

Also, what's the difference between the Poly-Myte and Poly-Lyte Kreitlers besides $10 difference????

Thanks!

I used to have a set of Performance rollers and got 3 years out of them before they completely fell apart. I decided to spend some serious cash on a good set of Kreitler Dynomytes and I'm happy with how smooth they are, but for almost $400 the frame is pretty cheap and flimsy. They do offer good resistance since they're only 2.25" diameter rollers, but for the money I would expect more.

No experience with the sportcrafters-sorry.

Texas cyclesport sometimes has the kreitlers on sale--might make it a closer call.

I have been using the Sportcrafters alum rollers for about
3 months now, and I am quite pleased with them. They have
just the right amount of resistance for me, and they are very smooth.
No experience with the K's.

are quite nice. just started riding them. you can pick them up on ebay (brand new) direct from the company. they provide plenty of resistance and are very smooth.
