I bought a new pair of wheels on EBay. Colnago (Ambrosio Excellence) box section rims, Campy Record hubs and Sapim DB spokes for about $230.

Needed something for Record 10 to spell my Neutron's and Mavic SSC SL's during the winter as I've learned the cost of fixing these 'built' wheels. The availability and cost of the Ksyrium parts isn't bad but I can't say the same for the Neutrons.

These babies are 36 spoke like the wheels on my fixie and they are stiff and responsive. No floppy side to side action or hint of wind up in the rear.

Wasn't cold enough to try my other gifts, Carnac Xenium neoprene booties and Assos Thermax gloves as it was about 10 out.
