ive been flatting every 2 or 3 rides because i was a cheapskate and didnt get a quality set of tires when my old ones got trashed. ive gone through 5 tubes in the past 3 weeks or so. should i get a set of decent tires to complete training with so i dont have to keep dealing with these flats?
its no fun changing tubes in this cold weather, as im sure many of u know. my hands were so chilled that i sliced one open on the rim of my rear wheel today and the flesh literally froze before i got home...not cool.

change your tires.

Conti GP 4 Seasons are the BEST, in my opinion. 4300 miles, one flat. it was a peice of wire that would have flat ANY tire. i just got my second set for Christmas.

...I've been riding the Conti 4 Season all year with over 4000 miles on the pair.I also have had only one flat when I got a piece of barbed wire in it.I think these are the best training or non racing tire available. You get what you pay for.

very true, you do get what you pay for. to me, the luxury of almost NO flats is worth the money. i hate changing tires. bitz4bikes on ebay also has some good deals..
