|I remember a year ago someone on this site posted a link to one of the coach sites for advice.
I pulled my IT band in september and haven't found any good stretching exercises for the whole band. I heeled up ok, but the spot from my outer side of the knee up sixs still hasn't really fully recover.
I couldn't remember if the one coach name was "Fred" or what. I may seen it on Ecaps, so sorry if this site wasn't the place I got that information. Andy Pruitt's book help for identifying my injury, but I'm having a hard time finding any exercise for the muscle group.
Any tips will be helpful.

|Thanks. That's what I was looking for. One fellow gym rat wants me to take pilate with him. He said it may help since they do alot of stretching (alot of abs).
Have a nice xmas Giro

|Stretching will be counterproductive if you still have muscle spasms. They can only be treated with massage. There are a few you can do on yourself. Poke around http://www.julstro.com Lots of people have solved their ITBS this way.|

|thanks powergyoza. That make since about massage. My family doctor wasn't much help and after taking 8 weeks off I didn't see that much of an improvement.
