I am looking to build a new bike and particularly want a steel frame which comes without a brazed on boss for the front changer. I am particularly drawn towards the De Rosa Corum. Any one have any comments good or bad on this frame or any other suggestions for easily available alternatives. Many thanks.

I got mine in Sept. It's a stiff bike with sporty geometry, yes inspiring when ripping through the corners.
It suits me perfectly. I wouldn't have anything but a standard threadless 1.125" headset. Paint is gorgeous, the execution virtually perfect, and a strong lightweight fork (Mizuno).
The frame price has jumped up $400 or so for 2004. Look for a 2003 frame - the paint is more attractive too, imo.
