Custom decals?(5 posts)

I was wondering about getting some of these 'custom decals' for my bike - Shimano stickers for brake levers, etc. There is one place on Ebay that advertises 'Screen printed Fade proof/water proof/last-longer-than-you'd-ever-own-your-bike decals' for sale. Anyone know if these are any good or anyone have other recommendations?

Thanks

Dave

I've done research on this because I was looking to design my own decals for my bike...here goes: this person is most likely marketing a set of decals that you are able to print onto using inkjet printer that retains the pigments imprinted on it. This printing media is easily purchased at many places and depending on the quality of the media, it can be waterproof and fade proof...which allows the designer to make just about anything. Hell, if you have the artistic know-how, you can do it too. You can even scan your favorite playboy/hustler chick and print it on this media to put on your bike.

Found the info on google - you can make 'water slide' decals using an inkjet printer.

cool

Now - on a completely different topic - anyone know the type of font that Shimano uses for Ultegra and Dura Ace?

thanks
