Can get one used for a good price. Sounds pretty low end for Colnago, but how does it compare to other aluminum bikes?

Columbus Zonal triple butted Altec 2 aluminum tubing
Aerodynamic down tube
Master profile top tube

The ASSO is the product of a very modern production technique which utilizes extremely accurate welding procedures and an elaborate heat treatment to ensure the lightness and safety of the frame. Columbus Zonal triple butted Altec 2 aluminum tubes are shaped exclusively for the Colnago ASSO according to specifically designed section profiles. The result is a very efficient frame with the unmistakable ride that only a Colnago can offer.

I think they've been discontinued for '04...some shops in Europe were blowing them out the door for $500 bucks including fork.
