What is some good/cool music to put on in the car while driving to the race site (have CD player and XM radio in the car)? Same for when riding the trainer? Also, any good movies/DVD to put on while on the trainer?

can't help you with the prerace soundtrack but I like house/trance/electronica on the trainer. jonvsf, sasha, john digweed, anthony pappa are all good. tracks are all 1 hour plus for the most part, perfect for use on a trainer.

Try Infectious Grooves or Dead Kennedys... or Descendants... you'll be freaking FLY-IN.

Pulled 4 songs off my mp3 player and checked what, if on my trainer, my average cadence would be for four songs off the Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables album. This assumes I keep up with the beat.

Lets Lynch the Landlord ~160
Stealing Peoples Mail ~130
Your Emotions ~126
Chemical Warfare ~116

My average cadence on the road is in the 80-90 range, so this cd is absolutely BUZZING. DK rocks.

but it still sings to me when i do. it always give me a smile when i see some 16 year old kid who's gone through the trouble of sewing a DK logo on the back of his leather jacket. you know that in his mind, he's one of the few people who have ever had the pleasure of DK.

I LOVE The Descendents, but I don't think Clean Sheets, Sour Grapes, Bikeage, or Coffee Mug will make me ride that fast!

Get hold of Thrice's Identity Crisis! That's an album to ride to. Either that or Gunmoll's Anger Management in Four Chords or Less.

looked thru my itunes lib and found another. Dave Seaman: Essential Mix, Live from Lush, in northern Ireland in '99 is right about 2 hours and imho the best on the trainer.
