Was looking at purchasing this bike. Litespeed had dropped it from its 04 lineup. Looks like a great bike, but why is Litespeed dropping it? How does it ride? How does it hold up? Likes? Dislikes? Would you recomend it?

If anybody has any info on it I would greatly appreicate it.

I shopped around and liked it the best. Smooth ride, I can outclimb almost anyone in my ride. Fits me well. I was not going to go overboard and I got a good deal at my LBS. Supposedly it has the same geometry of the Vortex, or some bike that I can never afford. Mind you I went up from a 27 pound Dave Scott Ironman w/105 biopace so I don't have a lot to compare it to. Nevertheless, there is another guy in my ride who also swears by his. My feeling is that when I start scoring pro-class points I can think about Ti, carbon and Dura Ace.
I would advise using your LBS and, if you can get lifetime servicing, that is the icing on the cake.
As far as the downside, my issue with the bike has nothing to do with the ride. I just wonder what the heck they are doing with a 105 BB and front derailer. I mean, the bike is basically full Ultegra. Why be so cheap as to change two components as to save what 20$, on the build? Litespeed should not be so cheap. My shop swapped out the parts before I even asked. But a good dealer, I feel, should do that free of charge.
Anyway, I love the bike and am quite please with its performance.
