I am in the process of finishing our clubs holiday issue newsletter. The last piece I need is a pic for the cover. Does anyone out there want to share a cycling related holiday pic to be used on our cover? You will of course receive full credit and a copy of the newsletter if you like. Maybe this could be a contest of sorts and the board could pick the winner if we get enough qualified responses. The pic will be converted to black and white for printing. It can be a photograph or graphic image, but you must be the author. This is last years cover done by yours truly. OK so it's not a Picasso :O)
Come on people I need some help here :O)Live Steam

I know someone out there has a nice seasonal shot of a bike in the snow or one under a Christmas tree. Or how about something Photoshopped. I know I have seen some pretty good handiwork on this board. I am gettin' desperate :O(

Just think of the exposure you'll get. We print up a whopping 250 issues. The mayor of New York City gets a copy of our newsletter sent to him each month as does Chuck Schumer - since he started using a bike to get around town. I doubt they ever read it, but they may have seen the cover once or twice :O)

I am actually supposed to send a copy of this newsletter to CBS. I attended a breakfast hosted by them at the local community college last week. They invited 50 civic organizations to participate if a round table forum. They were really interested in our club because they saw how a cycling club was a microcosm of our community. The anchor who attended wanted me to send her a copy of our next newsletter so she could put it on their morning show. This could be your big chance for photojournalistic fame!
