Looking for opinions from people who have ridden or own a 2004 LeMond Carbon/Titanium or Carbon/Steel frame. any feedback is welcome. Considering the Victoire but keep feeling like it's a bit gimicky.

and it rode nice as far as you can tell from 5min parking lot test ride. Maybe subjective but there seems to be less "ring" from concrete pavement then on all-steel frame, not sure if it is spine or diff tire pressure :)

Very smooth riding bike! It does a nice job of smoothing out less than perfect pavement. Whether it is better than a pure carbon frame, I don't know, but I do know that it rides super smooth, and climbs very well. I think the Steel helps it to feel more lively than a pure carbon bike would.

Just my .02 though. Ride some bikes in your price range and just get what feels good to you!

A guy in our club got one this fall. He loves it. Absolutely loves it. He got the steel/carbon model. Very good looking bike.
