In a bike loving sense, of course. The photo at the top of the forum of the Litespeed Vortex, particularly the top of the head tube and hiddenset cap, looks like incredibly fine machine work. The polishing is amazing, too. Is it just me? Have I gone too long without (a new bike purchase)? ;-)

I think a custom Lightspeed fixed gear set up for long distance riding is just what the doctor ordered:-)

How is that project coming?

vortex single speed?sievers11
Dec 11, 2003 8:45 AM
are you putting together the most expensive single speed of all time?

You make me want to cry. A vortex should have lightning fast shifting not track stands at stop lights.

I also keep spreadsheets for bikes I'm building or want to build. Good to know there are other geeks out there. My wife thinks I'm daft.
Others as daft as we are make us no less daft. nmdzrider

bad enough to have that thing flashing at the top of the page, now I have to see it in posts. knock-off the spam Doug! besides, Doctors ride Litespeeds. Lawyers are supposed to be on Colnagos.

(disclaimer: I will not use a smiley face at the end of my posts, so for the satiriacally challenged out there this statement should be taken as how I truly feel but stated in good fun with only minimal mal intent)
