I just got a park PK-57 tool kit so I tore apart my sunny day bike for winter maintainence. As I was doing so I noticed a dead fly on the bottom of the down tube. Oh what joy a dead fly can give you. To know I was going fast enough to kill a fly. It's my second one to date. Better mark it on the calendar.

Cytomax on the downtube is like fly paper.

I once had a kid comment about all the bugs on the front of my bike. They were from a trip on the roof of my car. I told him I
i was
that fast. His face was priceless.

it turned out the cable was glued to the BB cable guide with the Cytomax that had run down the frame. A quick douche & lube & it was as good as new. That $200 I saved by not needing to replace the shifters is money I can spend on other bike parts now, right?
Spit take! Where's the paper towels to clean the monitor? nmBowWow
