before you jump on the wagon and scream yes consider following.. it was a big deal for me at least 'till last fall.

I damaged my knees in summer of '02, and after "lets wait and maybe it'll go away" for a couple of month and then going to doctors and getting bounced ("you know you should quit cycling") end up with 8 weeks of corrective PT. Putting aside all benefits of PT /which btw put me back on bike/ one of the things initial testing showed I had a misbalance in muscle strength.

My right quad and left hamstring were ~10-15% stronger then their corresponding counterparts, making rightside downstroke stronger. Targeted exercises help to correct this problem, and guess what? Front der rub went away too..

Don't you hate it when docs tell you to quit riding? One of these days I need to find a doc who is a cyclist. ;)
