A long time ago I bought a frame and fork from a friend. The head tube had a decal with the name "Pickering" on it. There was also a decal on the down tube right above the BB that had the letters "STC" with the words "Selection Tri Colores" in a blue, white and red motif.

The frame is fillet brazed Vitus Dura Forte and the fork is made from Super Vitus. The head angle is about 76 or 77 degrees and the forks have only about 20mm of offset. There is major toe-clip overlap.

I think that it was orginaly made for 27" wheels, or maybe center-pull brakes, but has since been set up for 700C. All of the drop-outs are plain Campy. There were no braze ons what so ever on the frame.

Does anybody know anything about this frame? Who made it and maybe where it was made?

Thanks, Steve Frew.
