|When you mentioned WS and CC, I immediately thought of shops that use an online configurator for bicycle builds.
I've bought a bike through Speedgoat, using their online configurator, and it was an excellent experience. Granted, Speedgoat doesn't carry European racing frames like the e-tailers you mentioned, but they have amazing customer service. Also, their attention to detail in assembly was very good, and I am a picky customer.

|I just bought some Reynolds stratus wheels from competitive cyclist, and I have to say that they have the best customer service that I have ever ever ever had. Above and beyond.
I have had no experice with wrench Science, though.

|I bought my De Rosa King from Competitive Cyclist, and their service was excellent. Their sales staff is very knowledgeable. The amazing thing was, I made a second purchase for a low cost item (Specialized Bike Computer) and they gave me the same great service as if I was purchasing another high-end bike. I would highly recommend Competitive Cyclist.|

|First rate service, incl. delivery, although I do think the bike could have been boxed better.
Had a warranty issue with the De Rosa fork. I had the replacement in my hand 4 days later, trimmed to size. Sinclair Importers were very helpful here too.
If you do use CC, be sure to take advantage of their price-matching policy.

|Bought a Colnago from CC and they had great customer service. The original seatpost I had on the bike had no setback and I found I needed one with some setback, called them and they sent me a new seatpost that day, told me to just send back whichever post I didn't want, but that there was no hurry. They answered all my questions on the phone or via email in a very timely manner.|

|Bought my wife's De Rosa Planet from them. Great service and very knowledgable and easy to work with. After purchasing 3 or 4 high end bikes from various places, i highly recommend CC.|
