Where can Ifind reviews and opinions on Felt bicycles? They appear to be ignored on this site. Is there a reason? I'm a mountain biker that is just getting into this roadie thing. I was checking out some Felt bikes at the LBS and they seemed like a pretty good deal. What do you say to that, mah bruthas and sistas?

Felt bikes are perfectly good - they use frames from Kensis and the bikes are assembled in Taiwan. As Felt is trying to break into the strong position that Trek and Specialized have in the Road Market, they are priced and spec'd aggressively.
Many dealers around sell Felt bikes at 25% below list, which makes them a very good deal.
There are also lots of other super deals out there on equal quality bikes - both in shops or online. Shop a little and you will save a lot and get a super bike in the process

Have fun

Two schools of thought: Buy a frame or buy components. Unlike MTB, RB components do not wear out as quickly. You can get thousands of miles out of RB components. One thing Felt, and many other companies do is sell you a groupset with a free or low cost frame.

For a first road bike, set your minimums and maximums. Like $1500 max with 105 and carbon fork. Ride all the bikes you can find in your area within your preset range. Make your decision and RIDE! After a couple of thousand miles on a road bike you will learn what to look for when upgrading or replacing.

If the bike fits, buy it. Check geometry on siteswardinside

Most road bike companies show geometry on their site - so once you know your size on one bike - you can translate that to lots of others
Shop for the best buy - as stated correctly, you can use your RB components a long time
HOWEVER, at $1500 you can easily get a bike with Ultegra - in Felt or similar brand. No reason to settle for 105 if you can have Ultegra
ultegra felt is around 1200 in CAcurtybirdychopper

Near where I live in northern CA, full ultegra felts with mavic cosmos wheels run about 1200, as good a deal as you'll probably find if your priority is bargain and a quality bike. I've heard nothing but good things about felt bikes.
