Picture of my new 2004 Cannondale R3000... the Dura-Ace pedals are still in the box, as I haven't had a chance to put them on yet.

You must not have read the part in the first line of his post about the not having put the pedals on yet... still in the box...

Looking too hard at the pic to read the text, huh? Or did you look down to catch the drool and miss the text part of the post?

All in fun!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Yea, sometimes I'd rather not bother with the caption.

Does the R3000 come with basic toe clip pedals?
No, I already had those nmkevinacohn

Took the bike for a quick 10-mile ride today... still haven't put on the Dura-Ace pedals because my new shoes haven't arrived yet. Also, because it was Turkey Day, I didn't have time to do any more than this, so...

The ride is really, really great. I love the stiffness of the bike, and it really pays off while climbing and sprinting. The bike is insanely light (15.5 lbs) and new Dura-Ace is very responsive.

Overall, a great bike... I love everything about it.

More later...

So stealthy it needs the reflectors on the Ksyriums. Yikes!

Looking forward to some ride reports... Love the bike! Enjoy!

That's one sweet set of wheels! Wish you well with it...I got my C1000 last spring and I thought I was state of the art...it's hard o keep up with you, kevinacohn...but don't let a good looking bike go to your head...it's all in the legs...so, look ahead of you and use your new wheels to try to keep up with me! (lol)
Looking forward to our ride tomorrow :) nmkevinacohn
