Roughly $2300 frame, fork, headset and seatpost, give or take exchange rates.

1. the top tube of the largest is just a tad shorter than my minimum...
2. the headtube would put me in as radical an aero position as my GT...
3. the Ksano has already cinged the unobtainium card...

I hate to jump in your thread here, but, how is the build going on the Ksano? What components are you choosing so far? Also, doesn't the Issac look like Jan's TT bike?

... the Ksano is probably on hold till after the holidays...

Thing is... there are other "priorities" during this time of year and the plan was to make the build a true winter project (no real rush with time to choose (and save up for) components). Indeed, I'm waiting till the end of the year to see about snagging one of Kuota's own CF stems (slated for late December delivery)... based on "looks" alone!

Truth is, I'm having difficulty progressing from this point. 'Bout the only thing I'm fairly certain of... is an FSA Pro Team crankset. Outside of that... I don't know! Any suggestions welcome!!!

I don't believe that Jan's bike ('03 TdF) had a proprietary aero seatpost. It was, however, quite stealthy looking... especially when compared to Lance's latest rendition of Trek's Time Machine... BTW, have you seen Aegis' Cerveloesque Tri machine?

Those Lightweight wheels probablyChen2

each retail for more than the frame. Last time I checked they wanted ~$3000 per wheel.

... and can't see lightening my wallet by that much!

Fortunately, I've got enuff wheelsets around that that should not be an issue (both carbon and alloy). Admittedly, they do look schweet on a Storck from Poshbikes and such... but I'll stick to my generic ZIPPs and HEDs.

Hey, just for looks, was thinking about an Ax saddle... ouch!
