help with saddle setback and seat heightbattaglin

just got a ti frame to compliment my TCR1. the Ti has slacker STA than the TCR resulting in a 2cm differnce in saddle setback. moving the seat forward would affect handlebar reach. this likewise differed knee over pedal position and heel over pedal reach than what I've measured from the TCR1. Also I've notice that my lower back aches when on rides more than 2hrs. My question is do I lower the seatpost or move the saddle forward? I'm keeping the TCR so I'd want it not to differ much in riding position if possible. The TCRis a med while the Ti has 53.5cm top tube. Saddle to handle bar reach is both at 54cm btw. Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

The simple way is to setup the Ti with the same seat to pedal relation as the Giant. Then get whatever stem length that provides the best your case the length which eventually achieves the same reach as the TCR1.

If your other bike is perfect for you then you set the saddle so you have exactly the same knee over pedal position and saddle height.

AFTER you get that right then measure your first bike and if your saddles are the same type of saddle measure these two variables

1. distance from nose of saddle to center of handlebar
2. Vertical drop from top of saddle to top of handlebar

Setup the stem to get these exact measurements and you are golden.
