Adidas shoe help (sorry, no girls here)CritLover

Anyone using a pair of Adidas shoes? I was going to order a pair from the UK on closeout, but I've never tried a pair on and was unsure about sizing.

Can anyone who's ever wore them compare them to another big brand? (I know Sidi, Northwave, Diadora, Nike). Do they run bigger/smaller than any of the other brands? I wear a 41.5-42 so I can't figure which to get.

Thanks for any info.

the Nike Poggio II in a 44(10). The Adidas runs a little wider than the Nike, but length is probably about the same proportionately, since these are a half size apart. The Adidas is a nice shoe, especially the kangaroo leather that molds to your foot, but I just got the Nikes, have about 150 miles in them, and like them much better.
longer and narrower than Diadorasdzrider

supple leather on the model I got (Frosco) made them very comfortable after a few wearings. I'd get another pair.

both the Frosco and the Adistar TT Road. They run narrow even though I use an aftermarket insole with each. I'd buy them again in a second, the Frosco is quite light in weight, thus its imprinted tradename, Clima-lite.

I've got a pair that has carbon soles that start hurting my feet after an hour. I can ride with Shimano carbons all day without a problem. It must be the shape of my feet. Buying shoes Mail order can be a problem. I don't buy anymore, unless I can try them on first.
I have 2 pr. Love them.KG 361

I have a narrow heel and a wide front of my foot. They fit great. I have the TT road shoes and I'm not sure of the model mtb shoe but both are true 44's, or they fit me the same as my 44 Nike's and Looks did. I highly recommend them, especially if you can get them cheap.
I had a pair of Adistars, too narrow for my feet.russw19

I wear a Shimano 43 and a Northwave and Diadora 43.5. The Adidas were a 9 US and I think a 9.5 would have been better. I sized them the same as their soccer cleats (like the website told me to) and they were slightly small, but just too narrow.

I like the fit of the Diadoras and the Northwave Genetix but the Adidas were too narrow for my feet. If you have wide feet, be careful ordering online.

Now I'm thinking that maybe I shouldn't buy them until I try a pair on. I don't have a clue whether my feet are considered narrow by men's standards. If I can find a local store that has them, I would feel much better.

Thanks for all your input.
