those would look pretty sweet, but if it were me, I'd invest in better wheels for that rig. But, if these are just trainers. The big DA chainring would be just as dramatic... if that is what you are going for. But it is your money... go for it...

So sayeth the funk.

this is one of the kookiest setups I have seen. Seat jammed all the way forward with about 3 inches of spacers with what looks like a 120-130 stem. Crazy. Lots of things going on here.... Im trying to envision your riding position or style. Seems like a lot of funny things going on to enable you to get into the drops. Not trying to bust on you or anything, but how do you feel on this bike?

Im just curious more than anything.

Hey why so harsh? That was right after I built the bike. I had not had time to work on the fit. Since that picture the saddle has gone back and I have removed about half the spacers. I was just waiting until I got a good ride in to get the fit dialed in. I will be cutting the steerer tube more but wanted to wait. By the way it is a 110mm stem. Must be the picture that makes it look longer.
I feel much better on this bike than I did the old one.

I think it came across funny, Im not trying to be harsh at all! I was real interested how the bike would ride being so far forward.

I just had serious concerns when I saw that setup. Im glad it fits now cause I thought you bought a bike that was about 6 cm to small!!!

Fantastic. Nice bike. I'd love to see pics of it when you are done with cranks and new wheels. Some Ksyriums would look pretty fly!!!

Yeah Ksyriums would be cool but I would rather pay half that price and get some wheels built by Mike at oddsandendos. I hear he builds a great wheel. Also I will get rid of the yellow tires. Should be sweet when done. All I need to do is sell the old frame and fork.
What about TA chainrings on the DA crank??triman001
Nov 21, 2003 8:36 AM
TA's come in red and black (as well as silver and blue)...you could put them on the DA cranks...or even on the FSA....
Yes, but the outer chainring should be black NMDERICK

That's my problem, this is the Tean CSC version and I thought the red decor looked good with the bike. The regular ones only have the red label but black chain rings.
And yes I know I need new wheels, I am looking at some from Mike at oddsandendos. The reason I want these is I can get them pretty inexpensive, $200 shipped.
Sure, but....Colton

I'd go without the CSC version. Looks cool today, but in 2 years the team may be gone. IMHO.
This might give you an idea of how it will look like....divve
