Any advantages or disadvantage to either one? Pros and cons? Lack of daylight and colder weather is making think about getting a trainer again. Had one years ago and it made so much noise it drove everyone in the house crazy and I sold it. I take it the new ones are much quieter.

Every bike-related topic has been discussed before ad nauseum on this board. The problem with the search function is that it takes forever to find simple answers to simple questions.
