|Kidding... trying to break the tension of todays... peculiar discussions. BUT... I did want to drop something on you all.
Seems common every year at this time for people to be looking for new music to listen to while trapped on the trainer/rollers and for things to do to break the monotony.
Twas digging in the ancient CDs for something to listen to while on the trainer tonight (I didnt want to fall off the rollers cause the Victoria's Secret show WAS on....but I digress). Anyway, I pulled out a CD from the early 90's that some music afficinados (sp?) would appreciate and it turned out to be one of the butt-kickinest training cds ever. 55 minutes of perfect trainer fodder. Try this one out if you can find it at a CD rehash shop or on Ebay... it is called Infectious Grooves: Sarsippius Ark or somthing or other.. Id have to go look, but that is close.
If you dont know they were an offshoot of Mike Muir's (frontman for Suicidal Tendencies), and Robert Trujillo (now bassist for Metallica). And man was it fun. It is kind of kooky at parts where they jabber in between songs... dont skip over those, it is the only place where you will get to rest.
So, not sure if it was the music (it was), or chicks bouncing in synch down the runway, but actually was a fun night in the dungeon and a better workout than anticipated. For you spin class instructors... it is a little edgy, but worth a try.
So sayeth the funk,
(P.S. if the dude was holding his salt, I would have let him in)
