First time doing some CX races this year. I do my race, and a little while later play support for the GF in her race. It's been fun to be a spectator. CX race loops are short enough that you actually get to see the race develop, who's going forward, who's slipping off. In some races you can see a good portion of the course, so you get to see passes, crashes, etc. Lotsa fun. What are your most fun races to be at as a spectator?

This is a pro-series crit held on the first Saturday in June that usually attracts a pretty good field. Over the years I've seen Frankie Andreu, George Hincapie, John Lieswyn, and other "names". The really cool thing is that it's held in this funky neighborhood outside of Washington, DC, with a Metro subway station literally right in center of the course. Good vibes, and the neighborhood gets into it.
