I found the old book Hinualt on Hinualt at a used book store. The book was published by Winning magazine in the late 80's. $3.98 well spent. I scanned a couple of pictures. This is my favorite

That bike is still number 1 on my wish list. Only 500 were made wordwide. In my size there are probably 50. I'm sure some diamonds will take care of Mrs. H:-)

Is that the Reynolds 753 frame? Someone had a single speed conversion on ebay a few weeks ago. If I would have known it was on your wish list, I would have posted here about it. I was gonna bid on it, but it was too big for me. But it had a nice set of Campy Deltas and a C-Record crank in the hard to find 175mm on it too. It also had C-Record hubs so I thought about buying it and then re-selling the frame, but I didn't have the money at the time.

Yes, the Reynolds 753 is the frame I want. The bike on Ebay was too big for me. I've never seen one for sale in 50cm to 53cm

Nice shot, what are the chances of finding Hinault in a used book shop! Geez, I which I was that lucky.

Here's my current wallpaper, haven't taken it off since the Giro. Only difference is my has a big 42 badge on it. What can I say, Cipo is the man! To another sprinter it is pure inspiration.

Anybody else have a good one?

I just found a copy of Hinault's book in the Boston
area last month. It's a worthwhile read, he's certainly
deserving of being called Le Blaireau!

Speaking of Hinault, can somebody tell me where I can get
a digital copy of the '86 Alpe d'Huez stage just before
the finish line when Hinault and Lemond were hand-in-hand?
The Graham Watson photo of the two of them clenching
their teeth and climbing up is certainly magnificent,
but only tells half of the story. Thanks in advance.

I believe WCP is going to be releasing the '86 tour on DVD sometime this winter.
