Anyone have a clue as to whether the Fuji monikers of Elois 1 and Elois 2 for their lower end steel frames are the equivalent of Reynolds 520?
no clue, but it rides nicecmgauch

My '03 Track uses 2 for the main tubes and 1 for the rear triangle. I like the way it rides if that helps at all.

Don't know, but I've ridden my 64 cm Elios 2 Chrome-moly frame at 49 mph pedaling hard downhill and it's stable as a grandma and grandpa's marriage. It has surprisingly good workmanship. Tube walls are thick enough to be sturdy, but not too heavy for my needs.

it is custom drawn 4130. Since 520 is CroMoly too, if there's much difference in composition to make diff. Have no clue how tubesets compare weightwise, however Fuji steel bikes are known for good ride.

Fuji lists frame weight at 4.9lbs for Touring and 4.6lbs for Finest, just what you'd expect for honest 520 frame.
