I drove by one of these on my way in this morning. A smashed up bike painted all white (tires, wheels, chain, cranks, everything) with a "cyclist hit here" sign. Pretty cool. Thoughts? (This is a long link. If it doesn't work, just go to www.stltoday.com and search for "cyclist").

Each bike should have a message attached. Something to the effect " a cyclist was hit by a car on this spot, we have a right to the road, please be carefull" or something like that.

appears on the sign affixed to each bike. Each bike is chained to a tree or a post near the accident site. We'll see how long they last. Hopefully for a while...
