Ah, yet another jerk behind the wheel takes out cyclist(s)! This time a sleepy driver swirved into the shoulder where the group was riding Saturday morning.

This year has been especially bad for us in the Houston area. We lost a woman cyclist a few weeks ago in League City but it wasn't the driver's fault. She was on a small group ride and swirved out into traffic when a mishap occured in front of her. She was one of our customers. She was gone by the time the ambulance arrived. She was a very pleasant person who taught special education in an area school, and was very excited about her new bike she had been saving up for. Her fiancee was on the ride. A sad loss.

I hope all recover from the group rider. Sad story about the lady.

This must be the 3rd or 3th group ride to get hit this year? WTF we are in a losing war here.

Very sad to hear about this happening.

IIRC, Houston is one of the Clear Channel markets that had the idiot DJ problem. I wonder if there is causality...
