C-50 Color Options!SPINDAWG

Mike Perry at Maestro's is telling me that since he deals with Colnago Directly he's not limited to certain color options as in the U.S.. He says I can pick any of their frame colors from as far back as 1986. My personal favorite has always been the Mapei colors. I need some help guys tell some of your favorites. Thanks in advance!

... too much of a good thing???

With that kind of option, I'd get a rubber room and one of them fancy jackets that ties in the back!

You're on your own... but the Mapei is a nice choice (I'm gonna miss them colors).

Be the bike.
I want a new OvalMaster in TM-11, the Landbouwkcredit colors nm.russw19

How about pure chrome (yes, chrome), or pure midnight black.

i just saw a master x light in AD15. I don't see it listed on the Colnago colorchart anymore, but its the same as AD16 with the blue and yellow inverted:

It was gorgeous. Although you might want to pick a paint scheme that shows the carbon.

I bought a 2003 C40 from Mike this year and yes, you can order from most of the back catalog colors. I ended up with the AD10 which Mapei rode in 1998 before getting their own dedicated scheme.

This is one I've not seen since:

I rode with someone who had a C40HP in NL10. Beautiful blue and a really good looking setup.

Taking in consideration Of showing some of the carbon fiber in the paint scheme, how about NL38? It's the one with the world championship colors or would that be too much? What do you think?
This is my favorite...Bonked

but then again, I'm a little biased.

FYI - Colnago's bottleneck is apparently the painting. I waited for 6 months to get my custom painted rig and Mike ended up sending me something he had in stock. Mike's great to deal with, but you might end up waiting forever if you want custom paint from 'Nago.
So many choices.djg

Tastes vary pretty wildly (as do the patterns) when it comes to Colnago paint jobs. I like some of the pre-lux paint jobs. He sent me a Rabo-carbon job (one of the Rabobank team patterns, with no blue on it) which I like a lot, although frankly I have seen others I like even better. Look through some old cycling mags for team photos and check out older mags and--if you can find the pics--development squads too.
