Should I put this on my Christmas list??(14 posts)

Should I put this on my Christmas list??PaulCL

Chucksbikes.com has FSA CF cranksets for $185. Very tempting. My current cranks are 14,000 miles old. What's the lifespan of normal Campy rings?? I know the crankarms will go forever.

My wife is bugging me for Christmas ideas and I don't have any. Beyond tires, tubes, cliff bars, what else can a cyclist ask for??

What do you want for Christmas?? (OK we all want a C-50 with Record and have Hera's climbing ability, Cipo's sprint, and Museeuw's stamina, but let's be real...)
That would be ok, but how 'bout this ...cyclinseth

I got to ride a penny-farthing a few weeks ago at one of these mutant bicycle festivals. It's not getting on that's the hard thing, it's the getting off.
I put this on my listgtx

This is the first frame I've wanted in a really really long time (I wanted one of these back in the day, too). I kind of doubt Santa is going to come through for me, though. :(
What ticks me off about this....gregario

Is that they are only making these frames for "shrimps". The biggest size is 60 C-T!!

Sometimes I hate being tall.
This is what I'm asking for (fat chance though)terry b

...but then again, it might take too much time away from cycling...
You've got lots of miles left on your chain ringsKerry Irons

Unless you're constanly riding in gritty conditions, you should have no problems with at leat 2X the miles you have now. My '98 Record rings have 56K on them and work fine.

Its' just that lust is taking over. Besides,I'm WAY too cheap to buy something I don't even remotely need....but santa isn't....

Well, a woman can dream, can't she?

If not that, than a nice pair of bib shorts will have to do. Can't go wrong with a luxury pair of shorts.
