They are just south of downtown and are very active in the cycling community.
I'm in Dallas, but I highly recommend them

|Thanks for the plugs Dave.
As for road bikes we rent Lemonds and Trek 5200's and stop by the front of the shop (rentals is in back) for some local ride maps.
Ask for Ted (Teo) if you're really bored.

|I eluded to bikes and such but never mentioned that I was speaking about Bicycle Sport Shop. If you go to the website there is a link for online rental reservations. Or call and ask for the rental department.

Thanks for the info.
A guy from one of my riding groups (Santa Monica, Ca) actually told me about this website and said there is a really knowledgeable guy, i.e., TeoTeoTeo...funny how you came up.
By the way..how much? Oh, and are there racing clubs that train during the weekday mornings?

|Thanks for the compliment--It's good to know I have SOME people fooled (laughs). There is a good club named the Austin Flyers but I am not sure they do any weekday rides. On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 we have Spin Classes--you use your own bike and can rent a trainer. Cost is like 5 or 6 bucks and all goes to the instructor. It's a good workout.
You can link to the Austin Flyers from our site and I think the url is austinflyers.com
