|Dave, let me know how to get a hold of you and we can defintiely hook up. I was thinking of taking the mtb but since this a family get together (read, my wife will kill me if I ditch her too long with my parents) I think the roadie might serve me better and keep my time away to a minimum.
Talk to you soon man!

|Make sure you post the details here. I live in Dallas, and I'd like to join in, if you want some more company. That is assuming that my wife doesn't change our plans for Thanksgiving, and carts me off to Kansas to spend it with her family.|

|There may be a Mirage club ride that we can jump in, as well. They always have a holiday social ride that pulls in a big bunch. Usually 40-60 miles at a very easy pace. Lots of fun, no hammering.
Just another option to think about.

|The Thanksgiving Mirage ride is scheduled for Friday, November 28. Leaving Flagpole Hill (normally we start at TP Hill, but it's under construction right now) @ 8:00 AM. We usually split into several different groups, depending on fitness, riding partners, distance, etc. The last couple that I've done the lead group maintained a brisk pace the last 20 miles or so, but you can go as far or as slow/fast as you want.|

|where in Kansas? There are some P H A T trails up here. I know you dont believe this, but the local earthriders organization here is really active and has some fly trails all around the KC metro, Kill Creek, Landahl (local mecca), and Blue River are a few spots of local MTB lore.
Bring your MTB and work off that turkey!

|The in-laws live just outside of Manhattan. The road riding is good because there is very little traffic, it's scenic and it's a lot more rolling than Dallas. I have never ridden my mtn bike up there, but I'm thinking of bringing it instead of the roadie. Know any good trails around Manhattan?
Maybe I'll have to bring both the bikes! My wife would love that :-)
