Here's a full set of a local ride in Wiltshire, between Hungerford and Marlborough. Wooded countryside, flat valley bottoms with chalk streams full of trout, and steep short climbs over the ridges into the neighbouring valleys.

Sorry for the repeat but my PC let me down when I tried to put up all the pics last Friday.

This picture is of belted galloway cattle in a water meadow.

That looks a sweet ride - obviously you southerners can afford the better scenery because as we all know "It's grim up North".

Liked the shot of the "Red Lion" - that must be the most common pub name in England!

There's only one Red Lion at Axford! Good food and great beers.

Being Yorkshire born and bred this softy Southern scenery takes some getting used to!

You certainly have some beautiful country there, nice photos. Here in the mid-west US the crops are in and there's nothing but dirt where ever you look.

it looked like everyone was away on holiday...or were they simply at the Red Lion.
