I have a pair of these that are startig their second season of use. They do the job and are holding up well.

Shop around for deals. This price seems high. I remember paying $50 at the LBS.

How about, "slide back in the saddle, it really works the glutes!" Or, "Try the corner of Third and Main, downtown. Lots of nice booties, but it'll cost ya!!!"

I know, I know, pretty lame. But this board has really lost its spice recently. Anybody else notice?

SIDI Freeze (Road) or Storm (Off-road) high-top shoes....
If you go with the Sidi's, get them 1 full size larger than your normal size; wear 1 pair of Smartwool socks and cruise on....

So just get some cheap ones from Performance or PYI. I tend to trash mine in 1-2 winters depending on how much riding I do which is yet another reason not to spend a lot on them.

Take the money you save and buy some chemical toe warmers for the longer rides. You're feet will be warmer that way.
