|I am doing my first organized ride tomorrow, and I have to wear a number pinned to my jersey. It will be a longer ride, so I will be using a camelbak. Should I put the number on chest, stomach, or side? I am used to the MTB number plates that go on the front of the bike, so I am clueless.

|If it's just an organized ride like a century, then it shouldn't matter where it goes. The number are just used for ID in the case of an accident.
If it's a race, then ask the organizer where to put it. In this case it is important so that spotters can see it at the finish.
Either way it's good to ask if they don't tell you.
