|Someone around me has a small electric generator attached to their meager stream and the electric company will buy the electricity produced. I thought I'd be in the perfect world if I could hook a bike trainer up to a generator, train, and live off the electricity I made. I'd be pro. my own sponsor -no logos to wear, no strings attached. Just one long extension cord. This was what I'd been looking for for. The good news- the generator is cheap and yes the electric company will pay for the electricity produced. The bad news- the thing that regulates the electricty (can only sell consistant wattage or ampage to electric company) is prohibitively expensive. And the big bad news- RIDING FOR AN HOUR AT A STEADY 23 MILES PER HOUR LEVEL OF EFFORT WILL NET ME ABOUT MAYBE ABOUT TEN CENTS|

|If there's ever a blackout again, just generate your own power! Of course, you'd have to ride non-stop to power a light bulb and radio...|

|ya could create whats known as a 'wheel farm'
where they spin their little hearts out all day
on the wheels, make it part of their belief system
so they will be motivated, and hey, you can walk
