It is very likely that the entire wheelset is built in Taiwan by someone like Alex. Many of their wheels are completely built there. And even on ones laced here; Rims and Hubs are machined in Taiwan and shipped over. Not that this is a bad thing; it is the same as many bicycles, frames and other components.
Likely built in Taiwan - wheels, frames, bars, etc WHATS NEW?wardinside

All kinds of people are riding parts and frames that they think are from USA, Italy, France, Canada, England, and Japan - that are really from Taiwan. The most amazing is the high number of frames made by A-Pro, Kinesis, Yoan, MT, etc and then shipped unpainted to Italy, painted in Italy and then sold here for more than the price of most high end bikes!
It's called the Bontrager Race Lite....DaveLobster

I don't know about where the whole wheelset is built, but the rear hub is made by DT Swiss, and is basically a DT "Onyx" hub with a different shell. The front hub is a Taiwan special.

The Race X Lite (next step up) gets DT "Hugi" level hubs front and rear. -Dave
And Rims from Alex in Taiwan (re-branded of course)collectorvelo

KinLin makes rims on lower models and Alex on Higher levels - but these Taiwan rims are fine anyway
