It seems like I get asked this question by the non-cyclists I know all the time. Out for a ride with one of my regular riding buds, on an empty MUT, with a digital camera. Now, I can show them!

Yes, I ride as close or closer but while I'm taking a photo! Jeez. I wouldn't risk that. By the way, thanks for the wallpaper shot. Paul

For someone taking a picture, riding along at almost 20 is a good clip unless you're in km.

Usually I try and stay 6-12" behind and 2-6" to the left of the person in front of me. More if they're a squirrel, less if I'm at the track.
