Who did he/she allegedly rip off? What's the story?

Pretty old news, really.

He one an auction (eBay) for a set of Ksyriums and then when reminded in discussion on bicycling.com that he had bid up to near retail, he snooped around for a better deal on a wheelset and posted lots of "ha ha" snipes about how he was stiffing the guy and saying it was the guy's own fault for not responding to an email inquiry in less than about 6 hours. When challenged to do the "right thing" by folks he became a prepubescent potty mouth.

I actually emailed the seller as a heads up to try to work it out. Seemed like a nice enough guy who got the shaft.

Being a deadbeat bidder is bad enough, bragging about it seemed too low even for bicycling.com. But I s'pose he's sleeping well enough at night since he hasn't even bothered to change his SN.

Yesterday someone posted that they knew the guy he shafted.

I think the kid's a troll, but heck just one gal's opinion.

Trolls play a different game. Right though about kid with no maturity and when trying to play without a full deck is factored in it gets real ugly.

Didn't rip off anyone. No one gets hurt at all finanically. Some folks have less tolerance for "playing rough." Hey, that's life. I learn to live with them, as always. Some are just too imature and lack of wisdom to deal with life's problem and hardship. They can't let go. They can't accept the truth, the earth given truth. I spoke the language of the overman. :-)

R600, I remember when you were pitching whiny little snits about being kicked off of club rides a year or two back. Not much improvement, huh?

Wow. Very impressive. You've raced at least 10 times.

Bragging about being a cat. 4? That is hillarious.

Dude...being a Cat. 4 means you still have a long way to go before you can start bragging.

Better than most here who never race. :-) How's that??? How I love to make fun of recreational cyclists who think they know it all and do it all. Well, not.

Grow up and go away.

Or not, and give us some juvenile amusement for a bit, deadbeat.

Your choice.

Long time no "see." I've not been on bicycling.com much in the last 3-4 months. Lots of new folks and few familiar faces, I think probably most of the crowd is much younger than me (hey, and I'm not that old!) and I just haven't enjoyed posting there so much. But I'll be back no doubt.

Well, I guess this thread is prompting a little more "proof is in the pudding" posts from our young "friend."

Me neither. Not much there holding my interest these days. Hopefully its cyclical, though.

And yeah. Its just so easy to poke at him, but I should probably leave him alone in hopes he goes away. Must control impulses! :)
