|She likes them and they fit great but she figures they are not worth the cost and will probably not get another pair.|

|A friend of mine got them and had no end of troubles. First of all, they did not fit that well, and secondly, the drilling was a bit off, so he kept breaking cleats.|

|I have a narrow foot, and I also wear a size 49 so I thought I would give the custom shoes a try. I purchased them in the spring of 99 - I believe the price was 395.00 then.
Fit: The fit was perfect right out of the box
Weight: the shoes are very light, the carbon sole and minimalist uppers make for the lightest shoes I have seen.
Closure Straps: The velcro straps are made out of the same Loicra material as the uppers which flexed a bit. I prefer the non stretch straps that can be found on Carnac or Shimano.
Durability: The shoes were not nearly as durable as my Sidi's of the past. The uppers pulled away from the sole after time, and the heel pad on the carbon sole was a bit cheap. That being said I did get several seasons out of them, althoug the last one was probably a stretch.
Cost: I could stomach the 395 price, but now I think it is 200 more than that and I can't see that.
Conclusion: While I really liked the fit, I did not go with another pair of Rocket 7s. I ended up buying a pair of Sidi G4 in a size 49 narrow. I am using a non-custom hfootbed with them and after a month of riding, I am very happy with the fit.
Hope this helps.
