He was brought in as a show dog, but has an under bite. (like I can tell). He was born in New Zealand, and has family all over the world. I think one of his brothers is at a US Embassy over seas somewhere. We really wanted a yellow lab, but stumbled across him and he fit us like a glove. We got him at 18 months.

That's all to familiar looking. How old and what does he weigh?

Nov 4, 2003 7:37 PM
He turned 4 last week, and weighs in at 92lbs. Sometimes we do think he's maybe not retarted, but autistic. He'll just sit there and lick the air. I had a yellow lab for 16 years, they are truly beautiful. Right now we're trying to pass him off as a child, but the inlaws and my parents say he doesn't qualify as a grandchild.
He enjoys the bike races and especially all the attention he gets!

Hold old is yours. I like the square heads you find on the English labs.
awesome you are both very fortunate........abicirider

that he found you and you found him, I bet he has returned more love to you and probably you have done the same for him than either of you thought would ever happen, I'm sure he is thinking this porch and this life I'm living is sure better than the field my past owners abandoned me in.
I hope you guys enjoy a long long life together, he sure looks happy and content very happy ending to a story.

Presenting, for your viewing amusement, the world's smallest lab. Scarlett (she's a dudley/yellow with a red schnoz...thus the name) tips the scales at a scant 49 pounds. Yes, she's full-grown and full-blooded. What she lacks in size she makes up for in nuclear-powered character. This was one of her rare moments, when she was resting between warp 10 sprint sets (her butt needed itchin').

Start your own cat thread. Don't pollute this thread with those filthy animals.

Thank you in advance,

It doesn't even have enough sense to disregard it's own feces. But a dog had personality, and personality goes a long way.

Hey, Russw, you bastard, start your own cat thread, and post pictures...

Dogs have it all over the cats.

I don't think so...

This is the face of beauty, cleanliness, and all that is right with the filthy world we live in...

When Jules and Vincent are in the diner talking about if Jules wants a piece of Vincent's Bacon... Jules says he doesn't eat swine cuz it's a filthy animal... Vincent argues dogs are filthy too, but Jules counters with dogs have personality and personality goes a long way.
Vincent-"by that logic, if a pig had a better personality, it would cease being a filthy animal?"
Jules-"Yeah, but we'd have to be talking about one charming a$$ motherf'ng pig. I mean, he'd have to be at least 10 times as charming as that Arnold on Green Acres!"

Funny movie. See it sometime, if you never have.

He would pick the biggest dog at a party and attack him. He once attacked a horse on the trail.

We actually had to give him away beacuse he was not doing well at all with our children. He is in a very comitted relationship with a widow!

The tiniest Dal in the bunch. The 40 lb pup with the 70 pound attitude. 3rd generation champion line. A genuine bonkers sweetheart. "#1 shortstop on the hometeam!" -3yo.

On L: Dott- "Coach" 7yo
Rescued Dal from the neighbors "rural" dog handling style. Dals are NOT outdoor dogs.

Be kind to animals. "Thanks Dad!"

Romeo (with number one son).
For any of you who watch "Animal Precinct" on the Animal Planet cable channel, these two guys were from the batch of fox terriers seized from the illicit/deranged "breeder" who kept 49 of these guys in absolutely horific conditions.
Of the 54 terriers the ASPCA was caring for (a litter of puppies was born after the 49 were seized), by mid-September, when we got these boys, all but about a dozen had found homes.

it is intact but will be neutered in the near future. We were considering breeding but it sounds like a hassle to find other Viszla owners here in south La.

Took about 30 minutes to get them all looking at me.
Somehow, their expression captures their personality--the Aussie on the left is way mischevious, the Spaniel in the middle, is, well, a Spaniel, and the Aussie on the right is sooo serious!
