anyone ever order from "Cycling Bargains" in UK?PaulCL

I am always concerned about ordering stuff online from unknown overseas companies. Anyone ever use them before?? I've used Sdeals and Parker Int'l in the past. This company's prices are much better. This throws up a few red flags.

I did a google search for Vittoria Corsa CX TT tires and this site came up. At $26.89 each, they are cheap. A lot of their items are really inexpensive. Their Campy replacement cleats are only $8! Shipping to the US is about $25 per order.

Any input would be appreciated before I send them my credit card number. Disclaimer: this is not spam. I have nothing to do with the company other than as a potential customer. If they turn out to be OK, then we can all add them to our list of cheap suppliers.

Thanks. Paul

...getting some Record 04 stuff and have tried to phone them on several occasions over the past month. Every single time I get an answering machine stating they're too busy to answer the phone and to leave your number in order for them to get back to you. Personally, I don't think that's very confidence inspiring, especially if you ever have to get hold of them in case of warranties or more serious problems.
I also had bad luck with themcrankset

I was interested in some shoes and emailed them a few questions and they never answered. Nevertheless, I didn't order anything from them. They have very cheap prices but they don't seem to have good customer service. I am not willing to risk ordering from them if they can't even answer an email.

I think this topic came up somewhere not too long ago and nobody had anything good to say about them. The ones that went ahead and ordered received their stuff but it took forever.

Seems like these people need to get their act together if they want us to order from them.

I have also used sdeals and they were great.

I went ahead and placed an order. Neither item do I need right away. In fact, I'll give the tires and cleats that I ordered to my wife to wrap up for Christmas. I let the board know if the experience is good or bad. Paul
