Any one familiar with this website? They build low weight wheels and I thought about trying some but wanted to hear from some other people about them.

.....not bought anything from Mike Garcia but I've had many, many discussions with him over wheelbuilding pricipals both via e-mail and at Tech/Wheels where he is a frequent contributor.

He is known there are a man of good wheels and high personal integrity.

He weighs everything he sells so you will know exactly the weight of the wheelset you are getting - not some propaganda weight. He'll send you digi-pics of your wheels on his scale.

He has a total 100% No BS approach.

I get supplies from him for my wheels. Always timely (with exception of one time when he had a surgery). The weights he publishes are pretty accurate, and wheels of decent quality; I just like to build my own :)

Mike is awesome from oddsandendos, I bought a set of BTP carbon cages from him and emailed me he was going to interbike at thetime. After he came back he mailed me a bunch of cycling related stickers, the look great on the tool box and workstand.

He just got this one started which highlights some speciality stuff he's doing.

I've bought rims and spokes from him and have been very pleased. His business is growing so its best to call him vs. e-mail...

I am very satisfied with the performance and build quality. Mike is a good person to deal with; he does guarantee the wheels he builds. he has a crash replacement policy, too (I think he'll rebuild your wheels without labor charge; you pay for the parts; could be wrong). I got botique performance at handbuilt price. I did post some pictures on the components board, but they're basically am classic hubs and ritchey aero rims, 16h front, 24 rear, just under 1500g. best $400 I ever spent.
incidentally, the ad next to me as I type this says "The best $16205 you'll ever spend - Pinarello Dogma Ego".
