But at US$180+/pair, don't bolt them on to any bike that will ever fall over, much less actually put a bottle in them....

Nov 2, 2003 6:12 AM's not an "all Campy" bike with the Mavic wheels. Why didn't ya get some Campy wheels, or at least Campy hubs and Montreal's, etc?

...why the Ksyrium's and not Campy's?

and then post a new pic. Try and put the picture up on a Wednesday when I'm sitting in 3 hours of phone meetings. I really appreciate a good laugh during that otherwise extremely boring time.

Bull, Go to and buy the carbonfiber cages, lighter than Campy and doesn't lighten the wallet as much. I've been using a pair for about 2 months and their awesome.
I can't believe nobody has said it but....crankset

That is a really nice looking bike!!!!! What make is it? Seems like titanium. How does it ride? How stiff is the BB? As far as the bottle cages I would not go for that. They are too expensive. We have to teach these manufacturers that we are not paying the ridiculous prices they want for certain things.

Although carbon bottle holders would add to the look of the bike. Maybe a cheaper brand.

If I remember right, it's a Litespeed Ultimate that Bull peeled the paint off. I think the story was it started like a little chip and he got to peeling... and now what you see is the end result. But I remember it being a Litespeed of some sorts.

You could get lots of cheap cages and just throw them away every two weeks...
First get a stem/seatpost to match? (nm)hrv

But if you are going to be a carbon fanatic, you probably will want to start with the frame and wheels. ;-)
