Speaking of Lance not wearing a tie.....northcoast

I was at Interbike and saw some of the pros. I was shocked at how they were dressed. I saw Hincappie, Miller and Simoni.

They were dressed in some type of "Euro I'm so cool rock star look" All black head to toe...silk look, shirts unbuttoned down to middle chest, gold chains....weird.

So it could be worse with Lance, he could dress like them. On a side note Tyler was dressed like a normal mortal.

Of course this is a totally stupid topic, but I'm bored considering all the smoke in the air and the impossibility of riding.

While I am speaking only from photos/TV interviews of said pros, I must agree that in the majority of cases their sense of "off duty" style displayed is egregious! Hincapie was the worst offender of the lot with the *buttonless* white pirate/Tony Romero Saturday Night Fever '03 combo shirt. Hamilton's blue button-down shirts and khakis fit his "everyman" nice guy image and anything else would seem forced on him. Old Cipo works a pretty reasonable high-fashion angle with his designer suits/shoes and goes for a very fashion-forward casual look with bootcut Diesel jeans and the like (which Baden Cooke sports quite well in a proto-raver/psuedo Britpop way in the new Procycling). I am giving the highest marks to Bobke who, although retired, pushes it all the way with head to toe denim and a "Support Your Local Red and White" (Hell's Angels if you're wondering) tee! Wow, I went total Queer Eye for the Straight Guy just now...

well 2 of those 3 are "euro" dudes. Have you ever been to "Euro"? Fact is they have diferent fashions than wherever you might be from. They probably looked at you and think you were dressed like a dork too. If you were shocked by that, you need to get out more !
