My new Tsunami(5 posts)

The first bike I've built up. Tsunami frame, Veloce components (courtesy of EBAY and Excel sports), Veloce pedals (EBAY), my old open pro's with very old Vittoria Corsa tires, my very old turbomatic saddle. It was fun to build - less difficult than I thought. I'm still adjusting and tuning. I haven't had the steerer tube cut yet - I'm letting my LBS do that. My LBS will also give it the once over to make sure I did it all correctly.

P.S. That's my 11 year old daughter, Molly, holding the bike. She actually got on the bike last night (a 59cm frame!) and rode it around the neighborhood. Problem was the dismount...she couldn't stop. By the way, Molly picked the bartape color - I have no sense of "fashion" - or so she says.

Molly has a nice Giant MTB. We go out into the mud a few times per year to have fun. Kids love MTBing becuase you're supposed to get dirty.

This bike is my second or rainy day ride. Since I built it myself, I'm a little hesitant to take it out for long ride - yet.
